Bejn it-8 u d-9 ta’ Settembru 2011, l-Ewroparlamentari Laburista Prof. Edward Scicluna kien mistieden jindirizza seminar fil-gzira ta’ Rodi li kellu bhala tema l-immigrazzjoni u l-azil fil-Grecja, Cipru u Malta.
Seminar kongunt organizzat mill-Ufficcji tal-Parlament Ewropew f’dawn it-tliet pajjizi. Fl-intervent tieghu Prof Scicluna tratta l-aspetti istituzzjonali tal-problema tal-immigrazzjoni rregolari u kkomparahom mal-krizi taz-Zona Ewro. Huwa tal-opinjoni li hemm xebh bejniethom.

The crises of irregular immigration and the Euro Zone.

Between the 8th and 9th September of 2011, the Labour MEP Prof. Edward Scicluna was invited to introduce a seminar in the island of Rhodes, whose theme was migration and asylum in Greece, Cyprus and Malta.
The Seminar was organized by the European Parliament in these three countries. During his talk, Prof. Scicluna tackled the aspect of the problem and compared them to the crisis in the Euro Zone. His opinion is that there is a relation between these two problems. Prof. Scicluna discussed and explained his opinion in the television program L-MEP u INT, which was broadcasted on Smash TV, Friday, 16th September, 2011.
