Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Bahrain and Syria witnessed, and are still witnessing, their people’s uprisings. Two Presidents, Ben Ali of Tunisia and Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak were led to their downfall. Libya is engaged in an ongoing civil war. Syria, Yemen and Bahrain are experiencing their people’s anger. This is not all. Uganda had Presidential and Parliamentary Elections last February. Since then Ugandan main streets saw massive protests because of alleged election fraud.

L-MEP U INT is aired every Friday at 7.20 p.m. with a repeat the following Sunday at 6.40 p.m.
