Labour MEP and candidate for the 5th and 8th district Professor Edward Scicluna stated on Monday 3rd December during a TVM discussion programme Close-Up presented by Pierre Portelli and with guest Minister Chris Said. Prof Scicluna also pointed out that Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi made a serious political gaffe when he insisted that people on the minimum wage would not be paying income tax.
