Mechanism for Permanent Stability in the Euro Zone

What Greece and Ireland went through and are still going through, and the effect that all this was going to have on the Euro Zone, led to the need for a change in the European Treaty so that a Mechanism for Permanent Stability could be set up in the Euro Zone.
 

The way changes are proposed, could mean that a small country like Malta, would not benefit from this mechanism if the need arises, inspite of the fact that it will be contributing financially towards it.

The Maltese, Labour MEP, Professor Edward Scicluna was appointed to work on this Opinion Report about the proposed changes.
