Economic governance is an essential necessity both for an individual country as well as for a group of countries such as the Euro Zone. However, recent lessons learnt from Greece highlighted the need for a stricter economic governance for the Euro Zone. This is being discussed, amongst others, by the European Parliament. Decisions to be taken regarding the economic governance have a meaning for Malta too.

Economic governance was the topic dealt with by Labour MEP Prof Edward Scicluna during Smash TV’s discussion programme L-MEP U INT on Friday, May 6.
