Minister for Finance Edward Scicluna received a courtesy visit by G. Kathleen Hill, the newly appointed US Ambassador to Malta.

The meeting referred to the strong ties and close collaboration which exist between the two countries and the need to explore new avenues of collaboration especially in the investment field.

Minister Scicluna also gave a brief explanation of the various economic, fiscal and financial policies and initiatives taken to date especially during the last three years which are contributing to the attraction of the islands as a base for doing business in the region.
