Minister for Finance, Prof. Edward Scicluna met with the Lord Mayor of London Dr Andrew Parmley ahead of the upcoming Maltese Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
During the meeting held at the Ministry for Finance, Prof. Scicluna and Dr Parmley spoke about areas of common interest in the light of the forthcoming Presidency of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council.

The Lord Mayor led a delegation composed of the Chairman of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, Lord Jonathan Marland, City of London Special Representative for EU Affairs, Jeremy Browne, British Banking Association CEO, Anthony Browne, and the City of London Senior Programme Manager, Tim Rolph.
The delegation was accompanied by the British High Commissioner, His Excellency Stuart Gill and EU Presidency Liaison Officer, British High Commission, Anna Connolly.
Minister Scicluna was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Mr Alfred Camilleri, the Chief of Staff, Tania Brown and the Head Presidency Unit, Matthew Buttigieg.
