Stqarrija mill-Ministeru għall-Finanzi
Il-Ministru Scicluna kien fil-kapitali tal-Ġeorġja biex jieħu sehem fl-24 laqgħa annwali tal-Bord tal-Gvernaturi tal-BERŻ. Malta ilha azzjonista tal-BERŻ minn mindu ġie stabbilit fl-1991 biex joffri sostenn lit-tranżizzjoni lejn l-ekonomija tas-suq u d-demokrazija wara l-kollass tas-sistema komunista fl-Ewropa tal-Lvant.

Minister Scicluna holds discussions with EBRD President
Finance Minister Edward Scicluna, yesterday, Friday the 15th of May, held discussions with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Suma Chakrabarti, in Tbilisi. Among the topics discussed was the situation in Libya.

Minister Scicluna was in the Georgian capital to participate in the EBRD’s Board of Governor’s 24th annual meeting. Malta has been a shareholder of the EBRD since the Bank was founded in 1991 to support the transition to market economies and democracies after the collapse of communist rule in Eastern Europe.
