This morning, Minister for Finance Edward Scicluna left Malta to participate in the informal meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN), the Eurogroup, and the Eurofi Financial Forum, which will be held this week in Bratislava.

During these meetings, Minister Scicluna will discuss a wide range of topics, including the future of economic policies in the EU, the Eurozone fiscal capacity, measures aimed at improving tax certainty and combating tax crimes, the Investment Plan for Europe, the current state of play in Greece, and the improvement of public spending in the Eurozone

During the Eurofi Financial Forum, Minister Scicluna will also address a round table discussion on the “Impacts of Brexit for the EU financial sector”.
