Minister for Finance, Prof.  Edward Scicluna, had a courtesy visit by HSBC’s Head of Corporate International, Irene Grant.  She was accompanied by HSBC Malta CEO Mark Watkinson, and Head of Commercial Banking Michel Cordina. The meeting was held on Thursday at the Ministry for Finance in Valletta.

The discussion centered around Malta’s economic achievements to date and the island’s economic prospects. Minister Scicluna spoke about the Government’s vision for 2016, and referred to its commitment to a bigger emphasis on infrastructural upgrading.
