IT is hereby notified for general information that the President of Malta, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, in accordance with the provisions of article 8(1) of the Central Bank of Malta Act (Cap. 204) has approved the appointment of Professor Edward Scicluna, BA (Hons) Econ., MA (Toronto), PhD (Toronto), DSS (Oxon), as Governor of the Central Bank of Malta for a period of five years with effect from 1st January, 2021.
